Our Focus
Today’s students are the future of the automotive industry. We’re investing in that future by awarding scholarships and grants to boost automotive education in Iowa. The Foundation has awarded more than $830,000 in scholarships to Iowa students and $545,000 in grants to Iowa Community College automotive programs.

My father, Ron Brown was one of the 25 original donors whose early contribution helped establish the Foundation. The vision of the Founder’s Club created a shared purpose and an opportunity to support the automotive industry and those who seek to join it. I am proud to continue my family’s support as both a board member and a contributor, helping provide financial support for our future employees and the Iowa community college programs that educate them.

It is a pleasure to be involved with the IAD Foundation for Education. The importance of this program is paramount in helping create our next generation of Automotive Technicians. The grant program for Iowa Community Colleges allows them to request tools to assist in training/educating their automotive students and the scholarship program helps the students pay for tuition and tools. I really feel like we are making a difference and setting up the industry for a bright future!

The IAD Foundation has helped me as a student for three years now. Receiving this scholarship for the past couple years has not only provided financial support but also affirmed my passion for automotive service and auto collision repair. It has also allowed me to pursue advanced training and certifications that have improved my skills. The scholarship has allowed me to continue what I love doing and what I have a passion for without having to stress financially while attending college. I am truly grateful for the opportunities that the IAD Foundation has provided for me. I cannot wait to begin my career in the automotive field after I graduate!
